This mare by Frankel won a French Listed race last September and then showed a potent turn of foot to win the Group 3 Princess Royal Stakes over C&D 4 weeks later. She wasn’t disgraced up to the top level at Ascot on final start but this is more realistic and she is expected to take a lot of beating. Castle Way let backers down at Meydan when last seen but freshened up since if bouncing back could be the danger. Naqeeb should have more to come this season and is another one to note. 

The way PORTSMOUTH won on handicap debut at Epsom last month was really impressive and with more to come upped to a mile and a quarter for the first time I expect him to follow up. He carries a penalty but he proved he can handle an undulating track winning at Epsom last time so I don’t expect this track to be an issue. He looks to have plenty of stamina and is a horse to keep on side. Show Biz Kid was third behind the selection at Epsom and could be the one to chase him home as I think that is the form to focus on. Ashariba impressed winning on final start and has potential so is another who must enter calculations.
