TRUSTYOURINSTINCT ought to appreciate this better ground. This Churchill gelding won two of his three races on the Flat before switching to jumping. He was beaten roughly the same distance into fourth at Fairyhouse and into third in a Grade 3 at Naas, on much slower ground, and the form has been franked. The 116-rated Palamon has been placed in a couple of maiden hurdles and sets a fair standard. Katakana was only 3/1 for her debut at Naas, but didn't show. Significant improvement wouldn't be surprising, though. Gavin Cromwell's Royal Reprobate is a half-brother to a horse who won two bumpers and a maiden hurdle for the stable, while Dutch Gold isn't out of it.
Prediction : 1st Trustyourinstinct 2nd Palamon 3rd Royal Reprobate

OSSIE'S LODGE bounced back to form when pipped by a nose in Fairyhouse. He is clearly well thought of by Tony Martin as he has competed in a Listed bumper at Limerick (third) and was unplaced in a valuable handicap hurdle at the same track. His bumper victory came on drying ground at Down Royal. A mistake two out did Master Otis no favours in Fairyhouse, but he has form on better ground. Barrier stayed on well to deliver on the Flat at Gowran Park on Thursday. She is in good humour as she won her maiden hurdle at Tramore last month and would have to rate a threat if turned out again quickly.
Prediction : 1st Ossies Lodge 2nd Master Otis 3rd Barrier

Huntingdon bumper winner ROSALYS could go well for Henry de Bromhead. She switched to him after that victory in Britain and showed potential in fourth in a Navan maiden hurdle in September. Lazy Bones tries a new trip and gets better ground for the first time. She represents powerful connections and has to be respected after being placed in Navan. Cast A Spell faced a stiff task in Punchestown and is better judged on her runner-up berth in a mares' maiden hurdle at Cork. Lothbeg showed more in third when upped in trip to an extended 2m3f in Down Royal, while Field A Thistles has one notable piece of form in a valuable bumper.
Prediction : 1st Rosalys 2nd Lazy Bones 3rd Cast A Spell

DOWNTHEREFORDANCIN made a very pleasing return to action when beaten half a length into second in a novice handicap hurdle at Naas. Drying ground shouldn't hold any fears for him. Rebel Rose was third in this grade on seasonal reappearance at Tramore and looks dangerous in first-time blinkers. Dubeyeracingcraic won a maiden hurdle on decent ground at Downpatrick last summer and is entitled to improve from a spin on the Flat last month. Joyeux Vivo and Anyway are others to scrutinise, while Gordons Aura has been given a chance by the handicapper and would be interesting if strong in the market after a lengthy break.
Prediction : 1st Downtherefordancin 2nd Rebel Rose 3rd Dubeyeracingcraic

MAXI MAC GOLD has been placed in his last three maiden hurdle outings and the form looks strong. This will be the best ground he has encountered, but it is usually a positive for progeny of his sire Doctor Dino. Find A Fortune is rated 1lb superior to Maxi Mac Gold and his connections will see this as a good opportunity. He has been placed twice over hurdles on testing ground, albeit beaten a fair way, but could appreciate this much better ground being by the sire Soldier Of Fortune. Toor Khov has had three solid efforts over flights, while Now So Jake has won his last two point-to-points by wide margins.
Prediction : 1st Maxi Mac Gold 2nd Find A Fortune 3rd Toor Khov

LADYEZE MAN represents a shrewd yard and was touched off on handicap debut over 2m3f at this track in October. He wasn't seen after that until Naas last month where he didn't land a blow on testing ground. Probably in need of that outing, a chance is taken with him stepping up to this trip for the first time and there are stamina influences in his pedigree. Tramps Like Us was a creditable sixth in a higher grade over this trip at Bellewstown. The latter's stablemate Walk In Time is running for the first time since August but has winning form over this trip on a decent surface and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Ladyeze Man 2nd Tramps Like Us 3rd Walk In Time

Declan Queally junior gave TWENTYFOURCARROT a good mention before her debut at Wexford last month. The daughter of Balko from the family of Long Run was sent off 20/1 but acquitted herself well when third in what looked a useful contest and, with the benefit of that experience, can go close under the very capable John Barry. Leloopa had Dream On Baby behind when third on soft ground at Naas last month and can contend if handling this sounder surface. Emmet Mullins sent out a bumper winner at Tipperary on Thursday and introduces Churchfield Sunset who is a half-sister to six winners including last season's crack novice hurdler Ballyburn.
Prediction : 1st Twentyfourcarrot 2nd Leloopa 3rd Churchfield Sunset
