This looks a two-horse race and it should be a good opportunity for GREEK GIANT to get back to winning ways. He looked better than ever bolting up at Chelmsford on first try over 2 miles and while he failed to follow up last time the drop back in trip probably went against him. He remains unexposed over this distance and off a mark of 71 I think he has scope to do better again. Animato is the obvious danger despite not having won for a while. He is coming back down the weights and has been running fairly well to should make a race of it. Pons Aelius potentially best of the rest but he is badly out of form at the moment so needs to bounce back in a big way.

Nathaniel filly MISS BIELSA made a really pleasing start winning on debut at this track at the start of the year. She was heavily backed on that occasion and showed quite a nice turn of foot to pick them up and ultimately win well. She has been given plenty of time since and now tackling a mile and a half we should see an even bigger performance. Simon and Ed Crisford are in good form too so she has plenty going for her. Bated Breath filly Silent Glance also made a bright start winning impressively on debut at Kempton. She has also been given time so with more to come looks the obvious danger. Loving Look also looks promising and isn’t out of this either.
