GYTO's Tuesday Notebook Double pays 8/1.

I loved the attitude ASSERTIVELY showed to win on debut. For a horse lacking experience he just kept digging in and eventually got a short head in front as the line came. The front pair came nearly 4 lengths clear from the rest so while the third hasn’t run too well since I think the runner-up Night In Paris could be quite a nice filly for George Boughey so I do expect the form to work out in time. He is obviously open to improvement off the back of that initial effort and looks a colt to keep on side as he bids to make it a perfect 2-2 here. East Tyrone ran well to finish runner-up on debut and could build on that and emerge as the main danger.

The only last time out winner in the field BANTRY looks the one to side with here. This son of Lope De Vega finally got his head in front winning by 2 and a half lengths at Doncaster last month. He was slowly away but I think that helped him and he made good headway before hitting the line hard. That was his second start since a wind op too and he definitely looked like he saw his race out much better than he had been showing. He moves back up to a mile which should help and despite a 6lb rise looks the one to beat. Thoughtful Gift saw her winning run end at Bath last time but she is better than that and this quicker ground probably makes her the danger.
