KILMACURKIN was going well until a mistake two out saw him fade to third on his chasing debut at Downpatrick last month and he's likely to have benefitted from the experience. A step forward could be enough to see the son of Flemensfirth gain a first career success. Gold Haven, a close second on her chasing bow at Tramore, also rates a key player on the back of that promising run. The class-dropping Tullyhogue Fort has more experience over fences and is not ruled out at this level.

A large-framed son of Coastal Path, the selection has the stamp of a chaser and could well flourish over the larger obstacles at the first time of asking. Chiefs Kingdom posted a respectable effort on his chasing bow at Wexford last month and can go close with another step forward, while Sam Magee and Reverend Hubert are a couple of others to note.
