I know he is likely to go off favourite but MAGHLAAK is difficult to oppose here and there is a case to be made that he should be shorter. 

He had Qitaal, Alpha Crucis and Bill Silvers all in behind when winning at Goodwood and I think he is a good bet to confirm that form. He only prevailed by a neck but he was keen enough in the early stages and did a fair bit wrong. 

That was just his third start in a handicap and off just a 3lb higher mark with further improvement a near certainty he is the one to side with again. 

Alpha Crucis was a bit of an eye-catcher in behind but I’m still struggling to see him reversing that form. He seems to lack a gear or two but he could be the one to finish second.
