I know YOUNG FIRE hasn’t won for a while but that was an eye-catching run beaten just a length and a half at Redcar last month. He was just given too much to do and then when finally coming with a rattle was briefly denied a run which may well have cost him. It is no surprise to see him turned out quickly off the same mark and if getting a better passage through should finally get back in the winners enclosure. Little Empire got off the mark at Wolverhampton on penultimate start and then wasn’t disgraced beaten a length last time so will be the danger if finding further improvement. Paco’s Pride and Darker also have claims but probably need the selection to run below form to win this.
