Nudged up 1lb in the ratings, Brian Toomey's charge remains on a competitive mark and might not need much more to regain the winning thread. Mr Squires posted a creditable third at Carlisle four days ago and he is interesting turned out quickly, while Roaring Ralph can take a step forward for his in-form stable.

Antony Brittain's five-year-old looks ready to strike, while Kessaar Power is another to consider.

The son of Oasis Dream could progress further for this step up in distance and he looks the way to go, while Idyllic is noted too.
