GYTO'S Saturday Notebook Double pays 9/1.
14:40 Beverley
Despite showing clear signs of inexperience on debut MOVING FORCE still managed to come through strongly late to win readily by a length. He showed a nice change of gear and with further improvement to come could prove hard to beat. Richard Fahey has been in red-hot form too and hopes will be high as I know they consider him one of their better 2yos. Wathnan Racing have obviously been on a spending spree and they have another intriguing newcomer in the shape of Shareholder for Karl Burke. He was an expensive breeze-up purchase and it’ll be interesting to see what the market makes of him.
20:30 Chepstow
This looks a great chance for DUCHESS to follow up that Yarmouth win. She relished the drop back to a mile coming through strongly to eventually win going away. That form has already been boosted with the fourth Oh So Audacious winning well at Brighton and that form also got franked so it stacks up. She is up 6lb but this is still another winnable assignment and I expect her to get the job done. Mayz was down the field at Brighton last time but had been running better than that and if bouncing back could be the danger. Kalama Sunrise is still lightly raced and is another one I expect to get competitive.
