Freshened up since that Bangor win I’m expecting DUSAUTIOR to be really hard to beat here. He won despite looking far from the finished article last time and I loved his attitude under pressure in the closing stages. He is open to plenty of improvement over fences and I think he’ll follow up here as a 4lb rise is far from concerning. Big Bee Hive impressed winning again at Cartmel and looks the most obvious danger in his hat-trick bid. Annie Wicks won at Taunton on penultimate start and ran well at Hereford last time so is another one who has a squeak.

Beaten just a length on handicap debut MARCHING MAC will be hard to beat here if he improves again. He has gone up 3lb from that but is obviously unexposed so could easily take a big step forward from that. George Boughey has hit a purple patch as well so there is lots going for him. Billy Loughnane has been booked for the ride and everything points towards a big run. Berry Clever continues to run well and that was another good effort when third to Mart at Newmarket so he will be the danger with the step back up to 7f also a plus. Not much strength in depth in this.
