Things haven't gone to plan for SEEYOUINMYDREAMS since her costly purchase from the pointing field and sparkling bumper debut at Newbury in March 2023, but she showed there is still time to fulfil her potential when toying with the opposition on her Fakenham comeback. The victory will have boosted her confidence and she can take the next step back up the ladder. Parkin Fine was an equally facile winner last time, thanks in no small part to the odds-on favourite pulling up. She is still a danger, although the consistent Hard As Nails might be a bigger threat.
Prediction : 1st Seeyouinmydreams 2nd Hard As Nails 3rd Parkin Fine

WAR LORD had been on something of a downward spiral since making the frame in the Haldon Gold Cup, but last week's third over hurdles here will have helped get him back on track and he can build on that now reverting to fences. Sacre Coeur didn't show her true colours at Bangor, but is now back to the mark of her previous Cheltenham second. Issuing Authority is also better than he showed on his latest appearance, while Kauto The King returned with a pleasing Hereford performance. Matterhorn is an obvious contender if turning up after Thursday's Worcester engagement.
Prediction : 1st War Lord 2nd Sacre Coeur 3rd Kauto The King

James Owen hasn't taken too long to work some magic with MERMAIDS CAVE, who numbered Tour Ovalie and Carrigeen Kampala among her victims when completing a hat-trick at Cartmel. The five-year-old is open to even more improvement and is worth sticking with. Grivetana justified favouritism at Southwell on her first start for Harry Derham and is a big danger, while Pop The Champagne's Warwick second suggested that her turn is imminent again.
Prediction : 1st Mermaids Cave 2nd Grivetana 3rd Pop The Champagne

BROOMFIELDS CAVE should have learned plenty from his chase bow when runner-up at Southwell last month and compensation could await racing off the same mark. The Neil Mulholland-trained gelding looks sure to pick up a race of this nature sooner or later and he's taken to fend off Langley Hundred. Having finished a close-up second over C&D recently, the seven-year-old is effectively 3lb well-in and another prominent showing is forecast. Wonderwall may chase the pair home.
Prediction : 1st Broomfields Cave 2nd Langley Hundred 3rd Wonderwall

Tis But A Scratch posted his best effort to date when a close-up second at Uttoxeter last time out and a 1lb higher mark should see him remaining competitive. However, STILETTO shades the verdict after posting a promising fourth on his seasonal bow at Warwick towards the end of May. Keiran Burke's charge was unfortunate to bump into some well-handicapped rivals last year and an elusive first win could be on the horizon. Coup De Gold is also an intriguing runner upped markedly in distance.
Prediction : 1st Stiletto 2nd Tis But A Scratch 3rd Coup De Gold

KING'S CASTLE arrives here on the back of two victories and the most recent of which came over C&D nine days ago. His rider's 5lb claim largely negates the 7lb penalty that he carries and the progressive seven-year-old is hard to oppose. Getmetothemoon also scored on her latest outing at Stratford and is clearly the main threat, ahead of Supposedtobe and Ellerton.
Prediction : 1st Kings Castle 2nd Getmetothemoon 3rd Supposedtobe

DELTA FORCE took a big step forward from his debut effort when second at Leopardstown on his most recent start in March. The Irish raider is likely to have more improvement left to come and has to be high on the shortlist. Tuck Your Shirt In showed ability when third on his racecourse bow at Worcester earlier in the month and is likely to be in the mix once again. Others to note are Born In The West and She's Our World.
Prediction : 1st Delta Force 2nd Tuck Your Shirt In 3rd Born In The West
