I know U SURE DO was sent off 125/1 on debut but he made a mockery of that price getting within a nose of victory at Haydock. He ran a really eye-catching race as he was slowly into stride and then looked outpaced int eh early stages. Once the penny dropped he starting cutting through them and then was briefly denied a run before coming again in the closing stages. He could easily have won that and with improvement expected should get off the mark now. Tiger Mask was only beaten 2 lengths on debut in the same race the selection ran in and could be the danger. The Strikin Viking looks the most interesting debutant but will probably need the experience.

Things have really clicked for BLENHEIM STAR and she arrives here eyeing up a hat-trick now. She won eased down at Ripon last month and then followed up impressively again at Brighton last time. Dashing Donkey was only seventh in that race but he has won easily at Yarmouth since so the form has already been boosted. She is up another 5lb but is open to further improvement over a mile and this track should suit too. Newfangled wasn’t beaten far at Lingfield and off the same mark could get competitive in this. Lennon is the dark horse now handicapping and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him improve and get involved given the yard are red-hot right now.
