I was impressed with the way ORBITAL won at Chelmsford last time and if she improves again then she should follow up against these. She was slowly into stride and got caught wide briefly but made good headway and hit the line hard. This is just her third start in handicap company and 4lb higher looks well placed to strike again. Never Mind Me is also unexposed having only had 4 starts and he ran well beaten half a length by the selection last time so looks the obvious danger on that form. Tres Chic prevailed at Leicester last month and could be best of the rest.

15:40 Doncaster

A lot of potential lining up here so I don’t expect it to be easy but OXFORD COMMA impressed winning at Salisbury last month. She has plenty of scope but still looked raw so I think they’ll be plenty more improvement to come. She stretches out to a mile and a half here too which should suit and there is lots to like. Hosaamm looks a promising colt and did well to win at Newbury so could be the danger. Inner Peace was poor at Nottingham but if bouncing back is another one who should go on to better things in time. The King’s General probably needs more time and experience.
