No surprise to see FEERAAS a short priced favourite for this as he looks by far and away the most likely winner. He ran well to finish third on debut despite running green and given that has been franked since if he improves he should go a couple of places better now. The runner-up Afentiko won at Windsor next time out and even the fifth Dividend won at Sandown so it is stacking up. Hofburg was well held on debut but improved to finish third at Haydock and if stepping forward again back down to 6f could be the danger. Waking Dream was midfield on debut but should improve and also has a squeak.

This should be a good opportunity for QUEEN’S GUARD to follow up. She shaped with encouragement to go down just a couple of lengths on handicap debut at Newcastle and improved to win readily at Lingfield last time. She is 7lb higher here but looks on an upward curve and might be able to defy that rise against these. Beyond Borders is being backed but he was disappointing last time so will need to bounce back to have a say in this. He has been dropped a couple of pounds though so don’t completely write him off. Jimmy Speaking was poor at Kempton but again if bouncing back also has claims.
