DADDY LONG LEGS was given a 15lb hike after readily winning a competitive Punchestown festival handicap on spring ground in April. That leaves the Almanzor gelding best in at the weights here and he can land this prize en route to a tilt at the Galway Hurdle. A maiden winner at this course on last summer's hurdling debut, SPINNING WEB twice ran creditably on the Flat in May and should be suited by stepping up in trip for his handicap debut. He's been getting caught for pace on the level but stays well and and 2m4f will bring his stamina into play. Quest With Speed was an excellent second in a valuable handicap at the Punchestown festival when first-time blinkers were employed and will be in the mix if that headgear has the desired effect again. Karacole showed promise in maidens and was a staying-on second on her first foray into handicap company at Clonmel. She will be suited by the extra half-mile here.
