Disappointingly pulled up on her next two starts, she bounced back to form when second of 22 on her latest outing, and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough to take this. A runner-up on his debut over flights at Limerick, Mr Lincoln is an interesting contender in a first time hood, while the same headgear is also tried on In The Trenches, who reverts to maiden company after twice hitting the crossbar in handicaps. Second and third in a poor contest at Roscommon last month, Tyson and Rampere West both warrant respect, while Hey Whatever, Rose Boum and point-to-pointer If Any Man Can are others of note.

Placed four times over flights, Morning Soldier sets the standard on a mark of 116, but he has been out of form of late and is difficult to fancy with any great confidence. Third on recent starts at Killarney and Listowel respectively, SIONNACH EILE is likely to go close with Danny Mullins aboard. A three-time winner on the level, he looks capable of further progress over flights. Successful in a bumper at Downpatrick in March, Disco Dancer has performed with credit in three starts since switching to flights, and another good effort can be expected from her now. A runner-up five times from nine outings, Littlefoot is of definite interest returning from a break, while others for the shortlist are recent Ballinrobe winner Expound, the Paul Nolan-trained Monsieur Azul and hurdling debutant Next Week.

The winner of a point-to-point at Borris in April when in the care of Pat O'Rourke, DUE COURSE might be able to take this on his debut for new connections. The Sageburg six-year-old showed promise on the track at Ballinrobe last summer and was sold for 10,500 pounds after his point-to-point success. On his first start over flights since December of 2022, Slieve Bearnagh done well to win at Tramore last month and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow-up. Flashthelights is another recent winner in the field and with Oran McGill taking off a valuable 7lb, he looks to have solid claims. Sean Aherne, who won this race 12-months ago, is represented by The Border Boy. An encouraging fifth at Tramore on his latest start, the Shirocco gelding is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are top-weight Tipp For Mac and Garrett Ahern's Must Be Dreaming.

This is weaker than the first divide, with just two of the 15 previously successful over flights. CONTRAPPOSTO and Johanna Yeats are the pair in question, with preference for the former who has been running well of late. Placed on two of his last three starts, another good effort can be expected from the Dick Donohoe-trained 10-year-old. Handicap debutant Nicholas Street is of definite interest with Mark Walsh aboard. The only four-year-old in the line-up, the Yeats gelding is surely better than what he has shown to date, and in a race of this quality he should be able to make his presence felt. Pinky has been very disappointing since finishing third on debut and a first time tongue-strap might bring about an improvement. Get It Right, Racing Daisy and Grizabella are others for the shortlist.

MISSUS BEETON might be able to take this competitive affair. The Mamool six-year-old made the breakthrough at Limerick in May and was a never nearer second when going down by just half-a-length at Punchestown on her latest start. The 104-rated bay should be suited by this slight increase in trip and it'll be disappointing if she's not involved towards the business end. With Eoin Staples claiming a valuable 7lb, North Of Nashville is of definite interest. An easy winner on her handicap debut over fences at Wexford in September, she will aim to exploit a lower hurdles mark now. The only four-year-old in the line-up, Punchestown winner Noble Hilltop is sure to have plenty of supporters, while others of interest are handicap debutant Pallas Athene, dual winner Lovely Reaction, Downpatrick runner-up Betty Dutton and the Henry de Bromhead-trained Cobra Queen.

This has an open look to it, with plenty of interesting contenders in the line-up. One such is shock Irish Cesarewitch winner Magellan Strait, who is sure to be well schooled in preparation for his first try over flights. The 109 rated Camino Rock is capable of making an impact, while course and distance third Now So Jake, the Henry de Bromhead-trained Rosalys and Tramore runner-up Miners Bridge are others for the shortlist. For a selection, ROSE IN THE PARK gets the nod. A convincing winner on her sole point-to-point start when in the care of Donnchadh Doyle, she followed-up in equally taking fashion in a bumper at Bangor in July of last year. Out of action since, she starts off now for Emmet Mullins and might be able to extend her unbeaten record.

None of the six can be safely ruled out in this good quality contest. Getting a mares weight allowance and with Aidan Kelly claiming 5lb, WHATCOULDHAVEBEEN appeals. A four-time winner, she was last seen finishing an excellent fifth to Teahupoo in the Champion Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown, and a reproduction of that performance would be good enough to take this three-mile heat. A fine fifth in the County Hurdle, Franciscan Rock was a place behind the selection at Punchestown and while he might struggle to reverse the form, he should still give a good account of himself. Successful at Ballinrobe in May, Beacon Edge will be well-fancied to follow-up, while Kilbeggan winner Happy Jacky is also likely to have plenty of supporters. Macgiloney and Dreal Deal complete the line-up and with 17 wins between them, they both warrant respect.

With 11 debutants in the line-up, the market is sure to be informative. The subject of strong support when second on debut at Thurles in March, The Lookout Man is the standout name of those with form, while Ballinrobe third San Franco is another leading contender. Of the newcomers, it might be worth taking a chance on THE LAST LINE. A half-brother to Toe The Line and Line Out, who won 14 races between them, the Hillstar bay will be ridden by Derek O'Connor and comes from a yard well capable of producing one to win first time. Gordon Elliott's Secret Soldier is a half-brother to three winners and should give a good account of himself with Harry Swan aboard. Mint Approved, Union Alley and Lord Ffrench represent shrewd outfits and they all warrant respect, with the latter out of a sister to classy eight-time winner Cockney Sparrow.
