After two good runs at Newmarket and Ascot ROWAYEH could be coming to the boil now. She was beaten less than 5 lengths at Royal Ascot last month and I think that run is worth marking up somewhat as she got a bit lost as the groups merged. She remains unexposed over a mile and a quarter and if improving for it will be a danger to all in this and I’m surprised she has opened as big as 7/2 in the betting.
Hosanna Power impressed getting his head in front at Newbury on return and wasn’t disgraced at Chester. This test should suit him better and he is my idea of the main danger. Mighty Nebula let backers down last time but is another one who can improve further.

The hat-trick may well be on the cards for the progressive OWN ACCORD here. She improved to open her account at Wetherby back in April and then relished the step up to a mile to follow up at the same venue last month. She goes up to a mile and a quarter here for the first time and with further improvement to come looks a filly to keep firmly on side for now.
Born Ruler has proved frustrating but is still running well enough to be a danger here and is respected. Pol Roger has won 2 of his last 3 and is clearly at the top of his game so is another one who should get competitive.

With 2 wins from her last 3 I’m keen to side with LOCAL MUSIC against these. She impressed winning over C&D on return back in April and then was back to winning ways despite dropping back to 7f winning impressively at Lingfield last month. That was quite taking visually and the clock backed it up too. She is still open to further improvement back up to a mile and I’m expecting a big run.
Red Hat Eagle justified good support to get himself back to winning ways at Newmarket last month and is feared most despite a 6lb rise for that. Zozimus has been expensive to follow but left off the same mark is another one in with a shout.
