This looks a competitive 0-70 handicap but preference goes to ALL AGLEAM (best priced at 5/2) who boasts a course and distance victory in comparison to her main market rivals. The Andrew Balding trained three-year-old has a good record on the AW with form figures of 23312 including a course and distance success here in January off a mark of 71.

All Agleam bumped into a progressive rival when 2nd at Chelmsford last time off this mark of 72 and she should hold strong claims with Oisin Murphy once again on board.

Topweight CAVALIER APPROACH (best priced at 5/2) won over this course and distance last time off a mark of 67 and he runs here from 1lb “well in” at the weights under this 5lb penalty. The Ed Bethell trained four-year-old won comfortably by 1 ½ lengths last time in second time blinkers when dropped from a Class 5 0-75 handicap into a Class 6 0-65 handicap.

Cavalier Approach steps back in grade to this Class 5 0-68 handicap but with a revised rating of 73 he should prove too good for his rivals with Rossa Ryan defending an unbeaten record on the gelding.

Deerstalker is respected in first time cheekpieces but he is likely to struggle against the Dan Skelton trained GET UP MUSH (best priced at 11/10). The six-year-old returned from a 444-day break with a course and distance victory a month ago when a ½ length winning distance didn’t tell the whole story.

The handicapper has only raised Get Up Mush 5lbs for that success which underestimates the dominance he showed in that contest and if he is in the same form a month later then he should prove hard to beat.
