ELECTRIC AVENUE was on target over C&D three weeks ago, his first start on the grass, and given that he is open to further progress, a subsequent 2lb rise might prove lenient. Mizuumi showed promise at Kempton last time out and she warrants consideration from 1lb lower, as does Believe You Me, who could benefit from a drop in trip.

UNCLE DICK took advantage of having a strong pace to aim at when arriving late to score by half a length over a mile here last week and he should have no issues with the step back up in trip. The six-year-old carries a 5lb penalty for that victory but it may not be enough to stop him from following up. His main threat might be Bletchley Storm, who was victorious at Leicester when last seen in April and she is an interesting contender on her first start for the George Baker yard. Of the remainder, Luna Effect makes the most appeal.

LETTER OF THE LAW stumbled leaving the stalls when putting in a poor effort at Chepstow last time, but he finished second in this grade prior to that and he goes off the same mark today. John O'Shea's charge is a previous C&D winner and he could get his head back in front. The main danger might be Clear Justice, who accounted for his nearest rival by just over a length when scoring over 1m2f here last time and the drop in trip shouldn't pose him many problems, so he has to be considered. Headshot isn't out of it either.

MILLIETHEMOLLIE wasn't beaten far into third in this grade at Windsor last month and she goes off an unchanged mark today. With Jack Doughty claiming 5lb this time around, she could be the one to beat. Marching Mac was denied by a length when second over 7f here on his penultimate start and he would be foolish to dismiss off a 2lb higher rating, while first-time cheekpieces could eke out more from Lieutenant Rascal and he is another to note.
