Kate Ill Know was third behind Toon Town over C&D last time while Late Vocation and Trishknowsbest are others to consider. The latter was placed at Ballinrobe on her penultimate start and Keith Donoghue is a significant booking.

The 2m7f maiden won by Topgun Simmy at Punchestown last month looks a key piece of form in the context of this race. INNATENDUE finished well when upped in trip for a creditable second with Chosen Thyme a length and a half back in third, and Summertime Romance and Sunshine Diamond (now better off at the weights) not beaten far in fifth and sixth respectively. The selection should be suited by this stamina test, although Kilbeggan bumper winner Chosen Thyme looks sure to go close if brushing up his jumping. Aine's Lad steps up considerably in trip while Marv Michael is another for the shortlist.

Ambitious Fellow won a valuable 2m6f handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival last summer and had An Peann Dearg and The Friday Man both behind when third to Mayor's Walk on his first completed start over fences at Limerick last time.

Tag Man won a maiden hurdle at Listowel last autumn and got his chasing career off to a winning start when beating Moonovercloon at Clonmel last month, while French Dynamite hasn't raced in handicap company since second to Ga Law off a similar mark in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham in 2022.

An initial mark of 101 over fences seems fair and the seven-year-old gelding gets the vote over Thehairyfella who was having his first start for Gordon Elliott when keeping on well in the closing stages to take third behind Marronstown over three miles at Punchestown last month. Kadys Dirha beat all bar Barbaha Queen at Clonmel last time, while others to consider include Lake Chad and Game And Glory.
