Steve Ryder is back with three tips from Sunday's horse racing action.

The Lisa Harrison trained MALANGEN (best priced at 4/1) has won this race for the past two seasons and he should hold strong claims following a respectable 2nd last time. The nine-year-old won this race by eight lengths off a mark of 100 in 2022 before winning by the same distance off a mark of 93 last year.
Malangen has won twice since off marks of 97 and 94 so he should be competitive once again off a mark of 99. Peter Kavanagh once again takes off a handy 3lbs and he should make a bold hat-trick bid.

This looks a competitive 0-120 handicap hurdle but preference goes to FEVER DREAM (best priced at 2/1) who was an impressive winner over this course and distance last time. The Christian Williams trained six-year-old was a beaten favourite in a handicap hurdle at Fakenham in March over 2m4f but improved markedly for a step up in trip to 3 miles last time.
Fever Dream won by 4 ¼ lengths over this course and distance last time off a mark of 94 and he should prove hard to beat despite receiving a 12lb rise from the handicapper.

The eye was drawn to ALDBOURNE (best priced at 20/1) on his handicap debut here last time and he looks overpriced based on having a P next to his name in the formbook. The Lucinda Russell trained five-year-old joined the yard from Harry Eustace rated 63 on the flat so he looks well handicapped off a mark of 98 in this code. He was sent off 40/1, 50/1 and 50/1 for his maiden hurdles and was a relatively unfancied 20/1 shot on his handicap debut last time over this course and distance.
Aldbourne looked the most likely winner approaching the second last hurdle when the front-runner had everything else under pressure before pulling up sharply with the jockey reporting that he lost his action. He has been given a month off following that and if he travels into the race as well as last time then he looks overpriced.
