GYTO Notebook Double for Tuesday 16th July
Beverley 4.30 Yorkindness (2/1)
I know YORKINDNESS failed to have an impact when well backed at Pontefract last month but she had excuses and is a lot better than that.
She has been eased another 2lb and with this softer ground no problem I can see her bouncing straight back. The drop back to 2 miles is a good move as well and I have her as the one to beat.
Believeitanducan is yet to win a race but has run well on all 3 starts this season behind the progressive The Crafty Mole and does look the danger. Weddell Sea chased home Trooper Bisdee following a wind op last time and is another one to note.
19:00 Tuesday
Kempton 7.00 Eighth Avenue (11/4)
There are two or three nice horses in here but EIGHTH AVENUE has caught the eye on both her starts and with the step up to a mile likely to unlock further improvement she gets a confident vote to get off the mark.
She was beaten just half a length on debut and then improved to go down a neck at Yarmouth last time. She clocked a good speed figure that day and with more to come should be hard to beat.
Alla Stella ran well on debut and then only went down half a length at Ffos Las so up to a mile could be the danger. Mystical Elegance is better than what she showed at Beverley and is another one who must enter calculations too.

Value Tip for Tuesday 16th July
Nottingham 4.15 Caribbean Wind (7/2)
Bated Breath filly CARIBBEAN WIND was only pegged back late on debut at Wolverhampton and then she improved again beaten less than a length at Brighton when last seen.
The clock has backed up both of those performances and freshened up since she should have a great chance to get off the mark now. The form of that last run has been franked too with the third Apeeling beating a nice horse in Red Pixie at Windsor so it is all stacking up.
In terms of a danger Ticktyboo was only denied a neck at Newcastle and that form is pretty solid in the context of this race so he could be the danger but he does lack consistency.
Last Outlaw showed promise amidst greenness on debut when fifth at Doncaster and if improving on that is another one that could run well.
