Grace Harris' gelding is officially 3lb well-in having been narrowly denied over C&D last Friday, so this looks a good opportunity for him to regain the winning thread. Revenue is relatively unexposed and makes plenty of appeal, while Just Glamorous, who ought to fare better than he did on his seasonal return at Lingfield, is another to consider.

A chance can be taken on THE COLA KID, who appeared to be crying out for a return to further when keeping on into fourth over 6f at Salisbury last Saturday. Joe Bradnam retains the ride and is able to claim his full 7lb allowance now, and both factors look set to spark an improved performance. Port Noir didn't have the most ideal of trips over C&D recently but she is more than capable at this level. Gilt Edge is most appealing of the remainder.

A drop in trip is likely to suit Post Rider, who weakened late on over 1m2f at Newmarket last month. The previously progressive daughter of Postponed must be respected, but preference is for NIGHT LARK. Ralph Beckett's charge showed a willing attitude to score on her handicap bow at Wolverhampton last time out and, with the switch to turf unlikely to be an issue, she looks set to go well from 2lb higher. Others to note include Valkyrian and Placeholder.

Jax Edge is likely to have her supporters after her victory at Ffos Las and it's easy to see why, as she is only 4lb higher for that triumph. However, she could come out second best to AIRSHOW, who showed much better form when he finished fourth at Windsor, despite being slowly away. Rod Millman's nine-year-old has been dropped 2lb for that effort and he could get his head back in front. Howzak is another to keep an eye on.

Little Venice has been in fine form over the past month, finishing in the top two on her last three outings, and she should remain competitive off a 2lb higher mark than her most recent second at Beverley. However, the vote goes to NILOUFAR, who was beaten just over a length behind a subsequent winner at Brighton and competes off an unchanged rating. Givitawhirl rounds out the shortlist.

Blue Hero, Precision Storm and Bobacious are all last-time-out winners to take seriously, with slight preference of those three for Precision Storm, who scored by a neck at Bath. However, a chance can be taken on CARP KID, who finished second when last seen over this trip at Bath in May and he goes off a 4lb lower mark now. The son of Lope De Vega produced another solid display when fourth at Windsor two starts ago and he can repeat his victory of last year.
