MOLLIE FOSTER made a debut full of promise when only finding a more experienced rival too good at Goodwood and would have learned a great deal from that outing. Ed Walker's juvenile can find normal improvement to go one better, with her main threat possibly Sweet Sonata. The daughter of Sergei Prokofiev shed her maiden tag at Newbury and should give another good account of herself, despite her 6lb penalty. Any market support for newcomer Maids Head must be noted.

OUR ABSENT FRIENDS bounced back to form when denied by a head at Ripon earlier in the month and this represents a drop in grade. Tristan Davidson's six-year-old goes off an unchanged mark and, with Mark Winn claiming 3lb, he could be the one to beat up in trip. Royal Elysian has produced some fair efforts this year and should remain competitive off the same rating as her third at Newmarket. Paddy's Day is another to keep an eye on.

QUANTUM LEAP was only narrowly denied when second on his seasonal return over 1m4f at Hamilton earlier in the month and the five-year-old merits the utmost respect off the same mark here. Story Horse also hit the crossbar on his most recent outing at Nottingham and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Sea Legend and Percy Shelley.

GAIETY MUSICAL has filled second place on both of her starts outside of Listed company and David Evans' filly has been found an ideal opportunity to get off the mark here. American Arrow is out of a mare who was a Grade 2 winner on turf in the US and she should not be underestimated on her racecourse bow. The rest all have some questions to answer, but Kokinelli is arguably the pick of them.

Angel Amadea has to be of interest following her third at Redcar, but preference is for GENTLE ELLEN. The five-year-old has made the frame on her last couple of starts and was only beaten a length into second over C&D on the most recent of those. Off the same mark, she could be very hard to stop. Autumn Rose was not disgraced on her return to action here and is next best.
