The main threat might be Our Zebo, who ran with credit when he hit the frame over 3m at Uttoxeter last month and he should go well off a 1lb higher mark. Croagh Patrick is another to keep an eye on.

DR SANDERSON won by 15 lengths in a class 4 event over C&D last month and this represents a drop in grade for the son of Jeremy. Ben Haslam's veteran may have been let off with only a 9lb rise for that victory and he can go in again. Sword Of Fate wasn't beaten far into third in a stronger event than this recently and he should remain competitive off the same mark, while Guillaume could also have a say after his third at Southwell.

After being well backed before scoring over C&D last month, SEAN OG looks primed to offer another bold bid. Dianne Sayer's charge has been raised 4lb in the ratings for that length success, which could prove lenient after the front pair pulled well clear of the remainder on that occasion. Rotten Row rates the biggest danger after returning to form when winning over 2m5f at Stratford, but a 7lb rise may be tough to defy. Spot On Soph is also given a positive mention on her first chase start since last May.

CALEVADE didn't see another rival when making all over C&D last month and a 5lb rise in the ratings doesn't appear likely to halt his progression. Emotivo won on her latest hurdles start over 2m1f at Cheltenham and she is a fascinating runner for Henry De Bromhead. The four-year-old rates the biggest danger to the selection off the back of a couple of Flat runs in Ireland, while Uggy Uggy Uggy is respected after being well backed on each of his last three starts.

West Away impressed when scoring with the minimum amount of fuss over an extended 2m4f at Roscommon last month and he must be of interest once more, although a 13lb higher mark might make life difficult. JUAN BERMUDEZ is preferred. Dan Skelton's charge looked progressive when landing two novice hurdles last month prior to finishing down the field in a warm handicap over an extended 2m7f at Uttoxeter most recently. Off an unchanged mark with his sights lowered, he appeals most for a yard who tend to excel in races like this. Sea The Clouds is also noted.

The largely consistent Culligran may emerge as the main danger to the selection upped 1lb for a solid placed effort over 2m at Worcester recently, while No Mean Feat is also considered, though inconsistency continues to be the main concern.
