The Jet Away gelding arrives on the back of a solid third over track and trip and he's still open to improvement. Jimli's Cave is also noted.

However, FLASHTHELIGHTS' Irish form looks a touch stronger and a reproduction of his latest third at Cork may prove too good for these rivals. Restandbethankful and Malangen are unlikely to be far behind in their current form.

Although JOLIE COEUR ALLEN didn't progress as expected after a promising fifth in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in 2023, she displayed enough promise over hurdles in Ireland to land a race of this nature. Ben Haslam has done well with similar types in the past and the five-year-old could have too much class for these rivals. Reach For The Moon has yet to transfer his Flat ability to this sphere, but he's feared most, ahead of Cavern Club.

BOOMSLANG appears to like it around here having followed a silver-medal performance by getting off the mark last time. Rebecca Menzies' charge has held his form since returning from a break in May and is taken to strike whilst the iron is hot. Dynamite Kentucky posted a good effort at Bangor latest and makes the shortlist, while City Derby has landed his last two starts around this idiosyncratic venue and is sure to have his supporters.

FORCING BULL bolted up by nine lengths at Uttoxeter earlier in the month and the handicapper may have been kind to only put him up 4lb for that victory. Donald McCain's seven-year-old takes a drop in trip, which shouldn't pose him many problems, so he can record a double. Carcaci Castle struck over an extended 1m7f at Hexham last month and he could have a say off 3lb higher, while The Gypsy Davey is another to note after his second at Perth.

ILIKEDWAYURTHINKIN ended a long losing run when reverting to the larger obstacles and returning a clear winner over C&D last time. He looks capable of defying an 8lb rise given the ease of that success. No Regrets scored by only a neck at Kelso but can figure again on his favoured good ground, while Wasdell Dundalk can race off the same rating as when third in a higher grade at Perth and he's not out of this either.

OVER MILK WOOD has won two of only four starts over fences so far, having returned a winning favourite at Uttoxeter last month. He had a subsequent winner back in third that day, but has been raised only 4lb and can continue his good progress over the larger obstacles. Going Mobile won at Hexham on his penultimate start and looks worth another try over a longer trip, while Into The Sunset wasn't disgraced in fourth at Uttoxeter on his chasing debut and is worth noting with Brian Hughes taking over the reins.
