This was the first race where Trojan Sun had been remotely involved the race so for him to stay on so strongly under Amie Waugh to finish 2nd was eye-catching. He gets to run here off the same mark and is expected to improve once again with Paul Mulrennan taking over on board for the first time.

This looks a competitive 0-60 handicap but preference goes to DILLYDINGDILLYDONG (best priced at 11/4) who returns back to the course and distance where he was so impressive on his penultimate start.

The six-year-old only joined James Owen in May but has had five runs since June where he was form figures of 52612. He was an impressive 3 ¼ length winner off a mark of 45 here earlier this month before finishing a neck 2nd at Kempton a week ago. 

The handicapper has only raised Dillydingdillydong 1lb for that neck defeat and he should prove hard to beat back at Wolverhampton with Silvestre De Sousa a good booking. 

19:10 Wolverhampton

The Marco Botti trained SO OBSESSED (best priced at 7/4) is unbeaten under Oisin Murphy and she is expected to complete a hat-trick of wins under him. The three-year-old won over this course and distance in April under Brandon Wilkie off a mark of 56 before finishing 2nd at Lingfield off a mark of 58. With Oisin Murphy on board for the first time, she won by a neck off the same mark before following up at Windsor off a mark of 60 a month ago.

A 4lb rise for that ½ length victory may seem harsh but So Obsessed always looked in control that day and was value for more than the winning margin suggests. Connections have been patient giving her a 29 day break and she should reward them by completing the hat-trick.
