Sandown 4.20 Siempre Arturo (7/4)

I was with SIEMPRE ARTURO at Newmarket last time and he really impressed again with how strongly he travelled through the race. He has already won 4 times this season including his last 3 and with Buick booked I don’t see why the winning sequence won’t be extended here. He carries a penalty but has looked really progressive and looks the most likely winner once again. The main danger Quietness will go forward and could help set it up for the selection to run them down late.

Of the rest Silver Gunn didn’t run too badly when third at Beverley last month and if building on that again could be best of the rest. Enrico Caruso is unexposed but has a point to prove after that Windsor run on reappearance.

19:50 Leopardstown

Leopardstown 7.50 Blackpool (2/1)

After a couple of promising runs BLACKPOOL improved again to win over C&D last month. He stayed on strongly and was well suited by the step up to this trip. He obviously remains completely unexposed so with further improvement to come and Ryan Moore taking over in the saddle everything points towards another big run. There isn’t a huge amount of pace on so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him go forward and make all.

Barnso impressed winning at Fairyhouse on penultimate start and ran well beaten just a couple of lengths at Down Royal last month so looks the danger. Tamrat ties in on that form and is another one to note.

Newbury 7.45 The Crafty Mole (4/1)

With 4 wins from his last 5 starts THE CRAFTY MOLE looks worth keeping firmly on side. He is up another 6lb since that Thirsk win at the start of the month but the form has already been franked with the runner-up Believitanducan winning well next time out. He is up to 2 miles for the first time here which could easily bring about further improvement and I think he is good value to complete the hat-trick.

Surrey Belle obviously impressed winning by 7 lengths at Kempton last time but she needs to prove she can do it back on turf here and she also carries a penalty. Warmonger was off the mark at Lingfield last time and is another one who should get competitive.
