Elforleather was denied in the shadows of the post when finishing second over 1m5f at Hamilton last week and is respected off an unchanged mark. In a wide-open affair in which a case can be made for many, just a tentative vote is for HETTIE JACK. She pulled clear of the third when finishing an admirable second over 5f at Yarmouth recently and, sporting cheekpieces for the first time, she can go one place better. Nala Star has finished runner-up on all three starts so far and Ollie Sangster's consistent filly should be thereabouts once more, while Desdemona is also noteworthy.

NAD ALSHIBA GREEN put her first three underwhelming starts well behind her when she justified favouritism on her nursery debut at Bath last time. Michael Appleby's juvenile could prove very hard to beat, despite her 6lb penalty, with her main threat possibly being Griselda. The daughter of Kodi Bear struck by the narrowest of margins at Pontefract earlier in the month and she should remain competitive off 3lb higher, while I Love Dad warrants a market check.

DESTINY'S SPIRIT finished a close-up third in this grade at Salisbury earlier in the month and she now has a 1lb lower mark. With Rob Hornby taking over in the saddle, she could be the one to beat. Pablo Del Pueblo set a fierce pace and suffered for it late on when fading into fifth over track and trip in May and he would be foolish to dismiss off 2lb lower, while Global Effort is another to consider.

Shaws Phoenix is also noted.
