GYTO Notebook Double for Friday 26th July
Both the top 2 in the betting here are nice types but I can’t get away from MUTAAWID for John and Thady Gosden. This Frankel colt caught the eye finishing runner-up at Sandown and then improved again to win impressively at Kempton last time. That was his first try over this trip and he impressed with how strongly he travelled before showing a nice turn of foot to win by 6 lengths. He goes handicapping now and has more to come so looks hard to oppose.
Wonder Kid made a winning handicap debut at Newbury and then followed up at Newmarket. I thought he looked a bit unlucky albeit bumping into another improver in Lord Of Love last time and with more to come is the danger.

Sandown 7.35 Due To Henry (13/8)
After finishing fourth beaten less than a length in a race that has worked out really well DUE TO HENRY improved again to win impressively at Windsor last time. If he handles the fairly quick turnaround here then he should follow up despite the penalty. His form is stacking up and on just his fifth start he should have plenty more to offer. Even the sixth Maritime Lady won earlier in the week so that Yarmouth form looks red-hot.
Lone Piper ran in that Yarmouth race too and was beaten just a head so looks the obvious danger to the selection. Whathappensinvegas has won 2 of his last 4 and despite suffering defeat at Salisbury last time is another one to note.

Value Tip for Friday 26th July
York 7.15 Rayat (4/1)
The drop back to sprinting brought out the best in RAYAT at Nottingham last time and despite going up 7lb should be the one to beat. He was quick into stride and always looked in his comfort zone winning by a couple of lengths at the line. The form has been let down a bit since but the runner-up wasn’t beaten far at Hamilton and that did look a good race so it might not be as bad as it appears on first look. A horse that was nearer last than first has come out and gone close so mixed signals. The selection has only had a handful of starts anyway and could easily prove a cut above these.
Iris Dancer has won 2 of her last 3 and arrives at the top of her game but this is much tougher and she’ll need everything to go her way to come out on top. Runninwild is another one on a roll looking for a hat-trick and is also respected.
