BRINDLEY put in a career best when a neck second over a mile at Newbury last week and the unexposed three-year-old is hard to oppose off the same mark here. Thapa VC made the frame over C&D when last seen and has to be of interest with blinkers tried for the first time, while Showtime Mahomes and Blazing Son are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Brindley 2nd Thapa VC 3rd Showtime Mahomes

Pap's Turf has to be respected having scored at Beverley last month, but he may struggle to give 4lb to GOD OF WAR. Tom Clover's colt was an encouraging fourth on his debut over 6f at Yarmouth and that form has already been boosted with the third winning since. Damysus and Ride The Thunder were both expensive purchases and should not be discounted on their racecourse bows.
Prediction : 1st God Of War 2nd Paps Turf 3rd Damysus

DARING LEGEND is the clear pick as the son of Dark Angel arrives here 6lb well-in following his success in an apprentice race at Yarmouth last week. He had previously scored at Newbury last month and the hat-trick looks to be very much on the cards. Recent C&D winner Tourist should not be discounted and edges out Kings Merchant to be best of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Daring Legend 2nd Tourist 3rd Kings Merchant

MISS CYNTHIA picked up some valuable black type when finishing third behind Trueshan in a 2m Listed event at Sandown and these much calmer waters should see the four-year-old earn a belated first career victory, possibly at the main expense of Lady La Fay. Karl Burke's filly arrives on the back of a close-up second over 1m3f at Carlisle and isn't taken lightly now upped further in distance. Market support for 100,000gns newcomer Perrine would be interesting.
Prediction : 1st Miss Cynthia 2nd Lady La Fay 3rd Perrine

FINANCER came from the rear to complete a double at Haydock, having previously broken through at Redcar, and the hat-trick beckons. A 6lb higher rating for Tim Easterby's charge looks far from insurmountable and he edges the verdict over last week's Ayr runner-up Empire Of Light, who is 4lb well-in on this quick turnaround. Prometeo has held his form quite well since a Yarmouth triumph and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Financer 2nd Empire Of Light 3rd Prometeo

16:45 Doncaster

Andromedas Kingdom made it three wins from her last four starts when scoring at Nottingham and she should remain competitive off 5lb higher. However, the vote goes to ANGLO SAXSON, who produced a good effort to reach the frame at Yarmouth and goes off an unchanged mark. Patrick Owens' seven-year-old may only need to reproduce that level of performance in order to get his head back in front. Bernadine is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Anglo Saxson 2nd Andromedas Kingdom 3rd Bernadine

17:20 Doncaster

BRIGHT ran well for third over track and trip last time and competes off the same rating. The son of Starspangledbanner remains 1lb lower than his last winning mark and he looks the one to be on. Em Jay Kay sprung a 25/1 surprise at Nottingham last week and could get involved again, despite his 5lb penalty. Yarmouth winner Fletcher's Flight has the same penalty to contend with, but is another to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Bright 2nd Em Jay Kay 3rd Fletchers Flight
