GYTO Notebook Double for Tuesday 30th July
I was impressed with that debut run at Newbury from JOUNCY and he improved to go down just a head at Kempton last month looking a bit unlucky. The time of that race was good and with improvement to come he could be a good bet to get off the mark now. He is strengthening up all the time and with a lot of pace on I expect him to do better getting a lead. Oisin Murphy is in the saddle again and there is lots to like.
Carrados ran a nice race to finish third on debut and then improved to chase home Principality over C&D last month. He has more to come and could be the danger. I Maximus was well backed on debut and showed ability in third so is another one to note.

Despite running about a bit when in front GODSEND eventually ran out a convincing winner at Salisbury on first crack at this trip. He is clearly a horse with a big engine who stays well and turned out quickly under a penalty should take a lot of beating here. He is by Nathaniel so should keep improving with age and experience and with the Sir Mark Prescott yard still going great guns I expect him to justify favouritism under Luke Morris.
Mujid has won 2 of his last 3 and is respected but he is a 9yo now so is vulnerable to an improver. Beggarman has failed to fire the last twice but could still be capable of bouncing back with a big run and might even end up being the danger.

Value Tip for Tuesday 30th July
Yarmouth 2.35 Queen Of Good News (4/1)
I can see QUEEN OF GOOD NEWS going close here. This filly by Advertise looked like she needed the experience when midfield at Salisbury on debut but quickly stepped forward to run a big race over 6f here last month. She was beaten just over 2 lengths and stayed on strongly through the line suggesting this step up to 7f will prove ideal. The winner Ruff Justice, fourth Ellaria Sand, sixth Blue Zodiac and even eleventh Naina have all won since so the form has been franked and then some.
Without Parole filly Lady Justice made a bright start winning on debut at Epsom and that form looks solid so she is the danger. Manila Thriller has also shown enough to suggest she can get competitive in this.
