Goodwood 4.10 Cicero’s Gift (10/3)

I know this is tougher again but it was hard not to be impressed with CICERO’S GIFT at Sandown. He has only had five starts to date and has now won 4 of them so he is on his way to becoming a really smart horse. He has his quirks but there is no doubting the engine and I’m keen to keep him on side even though he is now facing a tougher calibre of horse. I can see him being even better with a stronger gallop to run down and with tons of pace on here this could pan out favourably.

My Prospero is the pace angle and he was highly tried behind King Of Steel when last seen. He would be dangerous off the front but there are one or two I expect to go forward so hopefully he gets taken on for the lead as that would be an idea scenario.

Musselburgh 6.10 Lady Luzon (9/4)

After showing promise LADY LUZON improved again to make a winning handicap debut at Hamilton last month. She was well backed and travelled strongly through the race before winning impressively and was going away again at the line. She remains completely unexposed so I don’t expect a 4lb rise to stop her going in again. As long as this doesn’t turn too tactical I think she’ll be the one coming home best.

Music History is also a filly on the up and she impressed winning over C&D last time. She has a 6lb penalty but can improve too so it should be a good race between the pair. Winchurch missed the break so ran well to finish second at Lingfield and is another one to note.
