Clive Cox has had a good year with his handicap debutants and MAGIC MILD catches the eye at Newmarket on Saturday. This Havana Grey filly impressed winning over C&D last month and that form has already been boosted with the third Dream Voyage and fifth Miss Fascinator both winning since.
She goes handicapping now off a mark of 86 and may well have been let in lightly. The yard have had a 16% strike rate and an impressive 47% have placed so this filly has plenty going for her.
