A very open contest sees a chance taken on BELTANE, who shaped as if this extra yardage would suit when second over 7f at Catterick. Mark Walford's runner was only beaten a length on that occasion and a 1lb rise may prove lenient. The hat-trick seeking Shahnaz is feared most and could be difficult to peg back, especially if allowed an easy lead. Lunario is also worthy of respect after a game success at Newmarket, although a 5lb rise may be tough to defy.

Night On Earth made every post a winning one at York last week but while he is fancied to go close once more, a 3lb rise for that neck victory isn't ideal. CAVALIER APPROACH gets the nod to bounce back to form after disappointing when sent off favourite at Pontefract. Ed Bethell's four-year-old was a comfortable winner on his penultimate start there and a mark of 73 doesn't appear out of his reach. Reigning Profit is capable of following them home.

It's easy to see why he will have his supporters off 4lb higher but a chance can be taken on BADRI, who could only manage ninth in a hot handicap at York last week, but is 2lb lower on his debut for a new stable and that puts him on an appealing mark. Looking For Lynda is another to watch out for.

Bringbackmemories finished a close-up third over an extended 2m at York and has to be taken seriously off an unchanged mark. Faylaq could also have a say.

Bristol Hill struck by a short head over 1m5f here and has since switched to the Linda Perratt stable, so it will be interesting to see how he fares off only 3lb higher.
