However, he could be up against it with NEVER SO BRAVE in opposition. Sir Michael Stoute's colt impressed on his handicap debut over an extended 7f here before finishing a commendable sixth in the Jersey at Royal Ascot. This looks like a much more suitable assignment and he is the one to beat.

However, a chance can be taken on CAMBRIA LEGEND, who failed to justify favouritism at Doncaster but takes a step up in trip off a 1lb lower rating. With scope for further improvement on only his fifth handicap start, he gets the vote. Richard P Smith is another to consider.
