There has been no stopping SALAMANCA LAD lately and he may well be capable of completing the four-timer here. He again impressed showing a good attitude to prevail at Sandown last week and if in the same form should have a great chance to go in again. I still don’t think they’ve reached the bottom of him and with Jim Crowley now booked for the ride everything points towards another big run.

Arkhalia Flynn won at Haydock and then wasn’t disgraced at Yarmouth so could be the danger. His second to Good Good Good earlier in the season has also worked out to be good form. Dashinwhitesargent is another one in with a squeak too.

Chelmsford 6.47 Dalmally (7/4)

Highland Reel colt DALMALLY was sent off 40/1 on debut but ran a really promising race going down less than 2 lengths at the line. The time of that race was pretty good too and now stretching out an extra furlong here it would be no surprise to see him improve and open his account. Experience is expected to count for plenty and as long as none of the debutants are useful he really should be winning.

Chesneys Charm ran well on debut and while he struggled a little at Nottingham this is a bit easier and he should have more to come so no surprise if he is the one to give the selection most to think about. Jack Andrea is another one expected to get competitive.
