That was an encouraging run from LINDWALL at Doncaster last month and if he can build on that he will be a major player here. He was denied less than a length by a useful yardstick in Marbuzet and off just a 1lb higher mark here he should have a good chance of going one better. Even his form when third behind Tafsir at Hamilton looks solid in the context of this race so I think he is a good bet to come out on top.
Captain Haddock hasn’t won since 2021 but is prominent in the betting so that tells you a lot about the lack of quality on show here. He did run well when second at Doncaster last time though so might still be the danger. Vision Of Hope is another one in with a squeak.

The progressive WARMONGER looks a young stayer to keep on side especially over this trip and he seemed to win with enough in hand to think he can defy a further 5lb rise.
Sir Mark Prescott remains in great form operating at a near 32% strike rate and this son of Camelot is expected to prove tough to beat as he bids to complete a hat-trick. I think the form of that Newbury run last time will work out well in time too with the likes of Road To Wembley, Robusto and The Crafty Mole all in behind.
Smart Charger was denied just a nose on first crack at this trip at Lingfield and might be the danger if building on that as he did impress me with how he hit the line. Obviously Fictional ties in on that form but does need to bounce back to get involved.
