He previously showed promise over longer trips for Joseph O'Brien and gets the vote to beat Mayo For Sam, who has progressed well this year and gained her second win last time at Gowran.

BEECHWOOD won a Killarney maiden last year and only just missed out on being Listed placed in the 1m4f Noblesse Stakes at Cork in April. She probably found a mile a bit short on her first start for Paddy Twomey last time at Killarney and could bounce back here. Shavasi has progressed with each run and won a Killarney maiden over a mile last time. La Dame Blanche has won twice over longer trips this year, while No Niki No was only headed in the closing stages over C&D on soft ground in May.

LAST ENCORE made a promising debut when fourth at Naas last month and given any improvement may prove the one to beat. The Joseph O'Brien-trained colt was prominent throughout that maiden and now has most to fear from Rebel Diamond. The son of Cotai Glory has taken a step forward with each start and was only headed in the closing stages last time at Leopardstown. Kodilicious and Onemoredance were both soundly beaten on debut but could well progress with that experience under their belts.

GLORIOUSLY GLAM has shown promise in three maiden outings and appears on a reasonable mark for her nursery debut with cheekpieces fitted for the first time. She handled soft ground on debut at the Curragh and also shaped well when third to Fiery Lucy at Fairyhouse, where James The Second was behind and that rival made a bright start in nurseries when third at Galway last week. No Straight Swaps showed good pace when fourth in a Cork maiden last time and is also noted.

I'M SPARTACUS won twice in the UK and having dropped down steadily in the ratings since joining Ado McGuinness this summer, finished second in a 23-runner handicap over this trip at Cork last month. Any rain may not hinder the chances of Pink Oxalis, who only weakened in the closing stages over seven furlongs at Limerick last time. Alex Belardo hasn't enjoyed much luck in running on his latest two starts, including when second at Fairyhouse.

SAXON LAND was third in a 7f maiden on debut at Down Royal last year and the two who finished in front of her on that occasion are now rated 85 and 73, so Ciaran Murphy's filly seems to be on a nice mark for her handicap debut. Butter Fingers, whose yard were in outstanding form at Galway, won a maiden hurdle by a street at Tipperary last month having shown promise on the Flat in May. Highland Bells and Fine Print, closely matched on their running over this trip at Down Royal, complete the shortlist.

LONDONOFFICECALLIN had a productive campaign after joining Eric McNamara last year. Suited by this trip and ease in the ground, he has run well when returning from a layoff and his trainer's string are in good form. Evans Secret drops into this grade for the first time and has been placed in staying hurdles this summer. Glyde Ranger showed his liking for this C&D when touched off by War Thunder in May.
