Steve Ryder is back with four tips from Thursday's horse racing tips.
15:45 Yarmouth
Kinetic is respected on his first start for James Owen but preference instead goes to AMONGST THE STARS (best priced at 7/2) who should relish this step up in trip on her handicap debut. The Daniel & Claire Kubler trained three-year-old has been sent off big prices on his three starts in novice races over a mile but this step up in trip to just shy of 1m4f on her handicap debut should suit this daughter of Sea The Moon well.
An opening mark of 52 should underestimate Amongst The Stars and she should prove hard to beat in this weak contest.

The Charlie Johnston trained DUTCH DECOY (best priced at 7/2) has backed up after six days previously so that should prove no concern to him running less than a week later than when 2nd in the Golden Mile at Goodwood. The seven-year-old has been running well in defeat this season with three 2nd placed finishes and a 3rd including when unlucky last time having been hampered during the race.
Dutch Decoy runs here off a mark of 87 which is 5lbs lower than his official mark of 92 and also 3lbs lower than when an unlucky 2nd at Goodwood so he should prove hard to beat with regular rider Joe Fanning once again on board.
18:00 Chepstow
The progressive filly BELIEVE YOU ME (best priced at 7/1) is unbeaten over this course and distance and she should hold strong claims of completing a hat-trick. The Heather Main trained four-year-old won on her penultimate start by 1 ¼ lengths off a mark of 58 before following up off a 4lb higher mark last time when an impressive 4 ¾ length winner.
A 10lb rise from the handicapper is fair and Believe You Me looks a filly worth keeping on side against some unexposed three-year-olds.
19:30 Chepstow
The Ed Dunlop trained WALTER HARTRIGHT (best priced at 3/1) is unbeaten in his four starts since the application of blinkers and he should prove hard to beat in his bid for a five-timer. The three-year-old started his winning sequence off a mark of 60 at Beverley before following up there off a mark of 65 by five lengths. He then won over this course and distance by 2 ½ lengths off a mark of 72 before winning by two lengths at Yarmouth last time off a mark of 78.
Walter Hartright runs here off a mark of 85 but he is clearly thriving at present and he can take this step up in class in his stride.
