Pearl Of Windsor drops to 5f for the first time after weakening late on over 6f at Ascot on her second start and she could run into a place. Hold A Dream may be the speedier of the newcomers as a daughter of Bated Breath and she can get involved, but CLOVER TIME is hard to oppose. Beaten half a length at Thirsk on his second start when headed late on, he might go one better cutting back a furlong.

With very little form to work with this may fall to a newcomer, with Charlie Appleby's Wild Nature one for the shortlist. A gelded son of Kingman, he has been found a sensible starting point here and should go well. Betelgeuse is bred for middle distances next season and won't be stopping over the mile here, but DUNAMASE could be the one. An unraced son of Kingman who cost 500,000 Guineas as a yearling, he's an exciting prospect and may make a winning debut.

MR MONACO has run well in defeat the last twice, including when a good third in a valuable 1m2f handicap at Newmarket off 3lb lower last month, and he looks the one to beat now eased in class. Touch The Moon is interesting on his return to action having ended last year's campaign with a victory at Carlisle, while Midnight Rumble only found one too good when bidding for a double over this C&D on his latest outing but he went up 4lb for that.

TENNESSEE GOLD has posted several creditable efforts in defeat since opening his account at Kempton in May. The three-year-old appears to have been found a suitable opportunity to regain the winning thread, with a return to 7f expected to suit. A drop back in distance and a first-time hood should see an improved bid from handicap debutant Perennial and he could prove dangerous if gaining an easy lead. Smart Hero and American Bay are also noted.

Despite a 5lb penalty for her recent Windsor triumph, hat-trick seeking Atlantis Blue is effectively 2lb well-in and another bold bid looks assured. George Baker's mare isn't taken lightly, but last month's Ascot scorer DREAMROCKER may have her measure. The Fastnet Rock filly built on creditable efforts in defeat at York and Goodwood when successful at the Berkshire track and a 4lb higher rating is unlikely to be the ceiling of her ability. Guiteau and Cervetto are other key contenders in their current heart.
