Regal Connection is the most obvious danger after a couple of promising efforts in novice company. Frankelian and Huxley are suggested as the pick of the rest.

LOVE IS THE LAW was a real eye-catcher when she won over 7f here last month and appeals most on the back of that stylish performance. The manner in which she stayed on suggests this additional yardage will suit and the daughter of Sergei Prokofiev looks set for another bold bid. There should also be more to come from Blessed Star, whose Thirsk debut second reads well in the context of this race, while Navarre Special completes the shortlist.

Flavour Maker ran on well into a modest second on his handicap bow over 7f at Salisbury when last seen in May and, subsequently eased 1lb in the ratings, he can get involved on his return. G'daay races off 2lb lower than his last winning mark and a return to form would see him bang on the scene, but it's last-time-out scorer LAND OF MAGIC who makes most appeal. Rachel Cook and John Bridger's runner was a comfortable winner over 7f at Epsom last month and this 5lb may not halt her progression.

TIME PATROL is clear of these on official ratings and this looks a good opportunity for him to continue his upward trajectory. Tony Carroll's charge was a good winner over 5 1/2f at Bath earlier this month and this in-form performer looks primed to follow up that success today. The biggest danger is likely to come in the shape of fellow last-time-out winner Coast, who scored in game fashion over C&D on Monday, while the consistent Mintana shouldn't be far away.

Raffles Angel rates as the biggest danger after a near-miss over 5f at Yarmouth last time and a return to this winning distance should suit, while Tilsworth Ony Ta also makes appeal after a C&D success off 3lb lower 17 days ago.
