Steve Ryder has three horse racing tips for Monday 12th August.
14:45 Kempton
This looks to be between handicap debutants Maith An Farhh and FIOR DI BOSCO (best priced at 5/1) and preference goes to the latter who represents the in-form William Haggas stable. The three-year-old filly has improved with each run this season and should prove better than an opening mark of 69.
Fior Di Bosco finished 3rd on both of her starts over a mile at Newbury and Windsor before weakening late on over 1m2f on her final start when 5th at Newbury. This drop back in trip to a mile should suit this daughter of Too Darn Hot and she looks sure to run well with up to four places available.
16:10 Ayr
The John & Sean Quinn trained SIR GARFIELD (best priced at 5/2) has form figures of 4122 in handicaps and he should prove hard to beat off the same mark as when beaten a head over this course and distance on Saturday. The three-year-old won at Catterick off a mark of 58 before finishing 2nd by 1/2 length at Redcar off a mark of 63.
Sir Garfield finished 2nd by a head over this course and distance on Saturday off a mark of 64 and gets to run here off the same mark before being reassessed by the handicapper tomorrow. Jason Hart is once again on board and he should prove hard to beat from Stall 4.

Caprelo sets the standard based on his recent form but a chance is taken on handicap debutant FAR LANE (best priced at 9/2).
The William Haggas trained colt finished behind subsequent listed runner Ombudsman in a Leicester maiden over 1m2f shaping like this step up in trip to 1m4f should suit this son of Cracksman on his handicap debut.
Far Lane should prove much better than an opening mark of 72 on his pedigree and he is expected to make a winning handicap debut under Tom Marquand.
