A course-and-distance winner, he got back to winning ways three starts back, and notched a double.

He stayed on at Newcastle last time out in a similar race to this, but now has the luxury of Morgan Cole taking off three pounds. That means with Morgan’s claim SPLIT ELEVENS is below his latest winning mark. He’s in good form which can’t be said for most of this field, and he can go in again.

The big class dropper is AHLAIN. She was last seen contesting a Listed race, and has been competing in strong races compared to the other runners in this. She’s went close at listed level around here, after winning a handicap at this trip. She’s the type to bounce back and can play a hand in this.

An eye-catcher last time out at Glorious Goodwood, WISPER was denied a clear run and would have went close to notching another victory if not for a troubled passage. Just denied by the consistent Andaleep two starts back, she now drops back in class from last time out and this is probably her optimum trip as she’s a strong traveler.

Disappointing on the whole, THEORYOFEVERYTHING is taken to regain the winning thread.
A debut winner, he was third in a Group Three on his second run to Isaac Shelby and Charyn.
He went handicapping and got closest when beating a length at Pontefract, before being gelded.

He moved from the Gosden’s to his current yard of David O’Meara’s, and was fourth off a mark of 92 on seasonal and stable debut. He was staying on well to be beaten half a length of 17, in what looked a strong race. He ran in two handicaps before having wind surgery, and last time out ran fairly up to a point.

He’s dropped in distance, and is dropped another three pound to 87, while also handling ground with give in, which is likely. If he can put it all together then he can go close.
