Refuge was a comfortable winner at Beverley last time out and a subsequent 5lb rise should be no barrier to further success, while recent Pontefract scorer Holbache is another to be interested in despite a rise in class. However, STRONG JOHNSON's handicap mark continues to slide. Paul Midgley's sprinter returned to form when filling the runner-up spot in a class 4 at Thirsk on Friday, though, and a similar display could see Kyle McHugh record a maiden victory on English soil.
Prediction : 1st Strong Johnson 2nd Refuge 3rd Holbache

This isn't the deepest of contests and it looks best to side with TOP JUGGLER. The son of Bungle Inthejungle shaped with promise on his debut before taking a step forward to reach the frame at Southwell next time. Further progress should be on the cards and that may be enough today. Rogue Endeavour attracted market support at Redcar so it will be interesting to see if he leaves that effort behind. 35,000-pound purchase Connie's Way warrants a market check ahead of her racecourse bow.
Prediction : 1st Top Juggler 2nd Rogue Endeavour 3rd Connies Way

Slaney Swagger posted a number of creditable efforts when trained in Ireland and Alice Haynes' new recruit is entitled to go well on that evidence, but it is HISTORIC CITY that shades preference. The Belardo gelding has been beaten a neck on his last two starts but this is a good opportunity should the first-time cheekpieces eke out some improvement. Skinny Malinka is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Historic City 2nd Slaney Swagger 3rd Skinny Malinka

Given he was disqualified for losing the weightcloth after the saddle slipped, ARCTIC MOUNTAIN'S latest start is safe to overlook and he is better judged on the sort of form that saw him make most of the running at Lingfield on his penultimate outing. A 11lb higher mark kicks in here but the son of Nathaniel is still of low mileage and looks progressive enough to cope. The hat-trick seeking Good Morning Alex, along with fellow last-time out winners Giselles Defence and Lunario, rate the pick of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Arctic Mountain 2nd Good Morning Alex 3rd Giselles Defence

Support in the betting for the likes of Maxi Boy, Slainte Mhath and Iris Dancer would need to be taken seriously as each would have a live chance if they get the breaks in running. However, from a draw close to the stands' side, POP STAR is dangerous to underestimate. The selection has fluffed the start the last twice but, as he showed when landing a brace of wins at Ayr in June, he is speedy and highly effective when getting the fractions right.
Prediction : 1st Pop Star 2nd Maxi Boy 3rd Slainte Mhath

DESERT QUEST, who won this race in 2021, has hit form at the right time for a repeat bid and looks worth chancing from just a 3lb higher mark. Obviously in a field of this size, there are dangers aplenty with Musselburgh winner National Question and Reveal just a couple who can make this tough for the selection on these terms. Although still a maiden after 11 starts, Sea Master is also feared with a first-time hood added.
Prediction : 1st Desert Quest 2nd National Question 3rd Reveal
