It might pay to side with the most unexposed horse in the field in the shape of SHOP LOCAL for Jack Channon. This filly by Profitable didn’t shape badly at Ripon on reappearance before finding things happening too quickly back down to 7f at Haydock last month. She goes handicapping now off a mark of just 47 and it would be no great surprise if that proved to be lenient.
Her trainer Jack Channon has had 19 handicap debutants this year which has resulted in 3 winners and a whopping 11 placed efforts. They are hugely profitable with this type of runner so I’m expecting the 10/1 to come under pressure especially as this has each way appeal and plenty of these are already exposed.
