UNDER SIEGE should have too much for these after his three placed efforts to date.

Second on debut to Group One Dante winner Economics, he ran into subsequent Group Three winner Lead Artist when again runner-up at York.

He fell out the stalls and was last, before staying on well to take third at long odds-on at Windsor last time out.

He comes here with the best form, and should be winning this easily on that evidence.

AUSTRIAN THEORY is a three time winner, all on ground described as “good to firm”, so the quicker the better for him.

He started out by winning on debut before being pitched into group races, including when third in the Group Two Vintage Stakes a few years back.

He went handicapping and won for a second time when taking a race off a mark of 94.

He was gelded and won another handicap for the Johnston’s off 91, and is now with Tim Easterby.

He’s had five runs to date for this yard, the second resulting in a solid third off 87 at Newcastle, behind a horse who has since bolted up off higher at Ascot.

Two starts back he ran into the back of horses at Thirsk and finished close up, and again was staying on well at Chepstow in a similar Racing League race to go third.

He’s now off 85, steps back up in trip, and can go well providing the ground remains on the good side.
