CONVINCING was gambled on to make a winning debut at Killarney and there was plenty of promise in his fourth place. The first two in that race have since delivered at the Galway Festival to strengthen the form. Cuban Confusion has a couple of placed efforts at this venue to his name and stayed on for second when last seen in Galway. Kingman filly Settlement has finished third in her last three outings and is interesting on her first attempt at Polytrack. Eddie Lynam's Musical Pace could build upon an opening third at Naas and his Camachero, who was a place behind in fourth there, isn't out of it.

It was a strong maiden that BERNARD SHAW finished fourth in at the Curragh and a whole host of winners have come out of it. He holds a couple of Group 2 entries and there should be significant improvement to come. Kodi Bear colt Faoladh attracted plenty of support before his opening run in Leopardstown, but could make no impression in sixth. He has the potential to leave that behind. Adrian Murray runs three horses and his Queens Fury could go well on her Polytrack debut. Murray's Charanda is markedly up in trip after a runner-up berth over 5f at this track, while Tangapour is a possible improver.

BARLEY COVE looks well worth a crack at 1m on the Polytrack. There is plenty to work with on this surface after he kept on for fourth over 7f on his first visit to Dundalk. That effort came in a higher grade and he has been dropped 1lb by the handicapper. Daonethatgotaway is dangerous back at this circuit. He couldn't land a blow in Naas, but kept on for second over C&D on his penultimate start. His best form is over 1m, including when successful at Listowel in June. Perfect Curves is on a lowly mark and avails of Keithen Kennedy's 7lb claim. She shouldn't be a backmarker in this company.

STOP ON RED can be tardy from the stalls, which does him no favours, but he was just pipped by a short head over C&D last month. Ronan Whelan is on board again and the pair will be gunning for compensation. The Bog Bank is nothing if not honest and took advantage of a sliding handicap mark when obliging at Bellewstown last month. She showed that her reassessed rating isn't beyond her when a close third, behind runner-up Stop On Red, on her latest outing. Say You're Sorry was a place behind The Bog Bank after a less-than-clear route so he has to come under consideration.

The lightly-raced SHAMWARI wasn't at her best on her first run off a break when third over further at this track in April, but she is accustomed to competing in Pattern company. She shed her maiden over C&D in good style in July last year. Mick Halford and Tracey Collins throw three darts at this contest and Slieve Binnian could be the pick of them. Prior to his last three runs on turf, he won two on the bounce over C&D. Star Harbour has never won in Dundalk but arrives in excellent form after scoring in Tipperary, which has seen his mark rise to 105. His chance is respected. Squire Danagher has Dundalk form figures of '3311' and a return to this surface will aid his cause.

CHOPSTICKS has hit a bit of form on turf and could make the breakthrough. He wasn't beaten far into third at Leopardstown and his fourth places at Down Royal and Leopardstown were solid performances. The last time he visited Dundalk, he came in runner-up over 1m4f. Designer Cailin runs off a low mark with Keithen Kennedy's claim factored in and can get in the mix. Kartayaz has three C&D victories to call upon and could land a blow. Bottom-weight Dark Blue Diamond showed his best form to date when fourth at Sligo, while Tara Power is capable on Polytrack.
