After just a handful of starts I’m convinced the best is still to come wiith KIKKULI and this looks a really good opportunity. He ran a monstrous race to go down just a short head to Haatem at Royal Ascot and then I think he had excuses when only midfield in France. The tempo of that race didn’t suit and I know he is a lot better than that. Back on this more galloping track he should bounce back to form and he is a colt I want to keep on side today and going forward.
Tiber Flow impressed winning the John Of Gaunt but then failed to back it up at Glorious Goodwood. This track will suit better though and he could be the danger. English Oak is also worth a mention but he did look one paced last time.

I was with ADELABELLA when she made the breakthrough at Nottingham last time and I’m not about to abandon her now. She was heavily backed on that occasion and travelled strongly into the race before always doing enough to win authoritatively. She has only gone up 5lb and now she knows how to win I think she has a good chance of following up. This doesn’t look much tougher so it will be disappointing if she doesn’t go and get the job done and she will likely be well punted once more.
Come On You Spurs woefully named but did impress winning at Lingfield and then she just looked a bit tapped for toe when third at Leicester. Back up to a mile should suit and she is probably just about the biggest danger to the selection.
