This looks a great opportunity for Storm The Stars colt SEE THAT STORM to win again. He moved from Andrew Balding to Ed Bethell and made a winning stable debut at Redcar last month. He didn’t go unbacked either and despite a 4lb rise remains unexposed so should be capable of following up. This trip seemed to suit him well last time and under positive tactics again he should take a lot of pegging back.

Cockalorum isn’t getting any younger but could still be the danger as he went down less than a length at Ripon last time and his form at Beverley and York before that is good too so definitely has a chance. Highwaygrey is another one in form.

Pontefract 6.45 Winning Point (5/2)

Blue Point filly WINNING POINT failed to show a great deal on debut at Haydock but she quickly left that behind to open her account at Lingfield last month. She showed a nice turn of foot to settle it and now sent handicapping there could be a fair bit more to come now. She is obviously bred to be pretty useful so an opening mark of just 75 may well prove to be lenient. This looks winnable so she has plenty going for her.

Cervaro Della Sala got off the mark at Kempton when last seen which was an encouraging effort. Given time since she should have more to offer and looks the danger. The Waiting Game again shaped well at Southwell last time and is another to note.
